Help / Q&A
Quick answers for saving shoots, recording repeatable lighting setups, requesting deposits, sharing selected work, uploading logos, installing the app, syncing between devices, and fixing weather/location issues.

Local save works on one device. Cloud sync works across devices when logged in.
Use automatic location first, then manual suburb/city if the browser blocks location.
Quick answers
Each saved shoot is treated as a project bundle. The client details, selected pages, notes, uploaded images, mood boards, invoices, releases, checklists, and custom pages stay inside that shoot/project record.
Open the project or shoot library, choose the client/shoot name, and the selected pages plus saved content should reopen with that record.
Yes when you are logged in with the same email and cloud sync is active. If you are not logged in, the app can still save locally on that device, but it will not automatically appear on your other devices.
Best result: transparent PNG, square, 1000 x 1000px or 1200 x 1200px, under 2 MB. A clean circular, badge, or studio mark works best for the app and invoice header.
Use JPG or PNG. Cover artwork should be landscape, around 1600 x 900px or larger. Mood boards and client images can be square or portrait; keep individual images under 3 MB where possible.
Allow browser location permission first. If it still fails, type the suburb, city, or shoot area into the manual weather/location field and tap Update again.
Open the shoot's Invoice Template, add the deposit amount and paste a secure payment link from your own Stripe, PayPal, or other provider. Open it for a client beside you or use Share deposit request. Record the amount received, status, and transaction reference after the provider confirms payment.
Open Client Showcase, choose up to six approved photographs, add your contact and optional booking or deposit links, confirm permission, and publish. Send the unlisted link by text, email, Facebook, or WhatsApp. Anyone with the link can view it, so do not include private material.
Open Lighting Setup Record. Save whether it was studio or location, the place and time, every light and modifier, position, distance and power, then add the camera settings, ambient conditions and a placement sketch. Upload behind-the-scenes photographs and the finished result so the complete lighting recipe stays with the shoot.
Workflow
Start with a shoot/project name, client name, shoot date, photographer, and location. This becomes the folder for that job.
Select only the pages needed for that job: daily planner, lighting setup, mood board, location scout, gear, invoice, release forms, notes, and any custom pages.
Add mood board images, client references, location photos, lighting setup and finished-result photographs, before/after photos, and your studio logo where needed.
The app auto-saves while you work. Log in on each device with the same email so cloud projects can follow you.
Use print/download on invoices and release forms when you need a clean client copy. Back up important projects before major changes.
On iPhone/iPad, open in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On desktop, use the browser install option.
